Row-Crop Farming and Climate Change: What the Future Holds

In December, the public was invited to participate in a forum with leading policy-makers, regulators and scientists about the influence of California's historic climate change legislation on agriculture - and what opportunities and barriers exist for your business.

This free conference, "Row-Crop Farming and Climate Change: What the Future Holds," was hosted by the California Farm Bureau Federation, California Agricultural Technology Institute, California Cotton Ginners and Growers Associations, Natural Resources Conservation Service and Sustainable Conservation at California State University, Fresno.

Sustainable Conservation is pleased to provide the following information about the conference, background about the 2006 Global Warming Solutions Act (also known as Assembly Bill, AB, 32), and opportunities for row-crop farming in California.
